Sutton Coldfield Golf Club

First, we wish you a very warm welcome from Sutton Coldfield Ladies.

The ladies are an active and friendly group, catering for golfers of all abilities from beginners to serious golfers. We want you to get the most out of our Club by improving your golf and making new friends whilst having some fun.

If you are an absolute beginner to golf we offer support and encouragement to help you gain a handicap, understand the etiquette and become familiar with the rules and provide you with a mentor.  New members are always welcome and the Club offers a range of competitive and social golf and lessons are available from Pat Brady the professional, if required.

Ladies day is Tuesday, when we have the tee reserved from 8:00am – 12:00am. The competition diary provides a wide variety of serious or casual formats to suit all handicaps and abilities. To accommodate working ladies, Alternative Day Medal and Stableford competitions are played on Sunday.

For those ladies preferring to play a shorter round, or recovering from injury, we hold regular 9 hole qualifying and 10 hole competitions. Casual, fun matches are held regularly on Monday and Thursday mornings, when it is simply a case of turn up and play with whoever is there.  And of course, you can make your own arrangements to play.

In addition, the Club has an active social calendar, with various events throughout the year, including the very popular Ascot Ladies Day in addition to Captain’s Day and an Away Day where we arrange to play another course and have a meal.  There is also a thriving Bridge Section offering weekly social bridge sessions, regular bridge drives, duplicate bridge as well as beginners/ improvers lessons.

If you would like further information about any aspect of the ladies section, please contact the Administration Office - admin@suttoncoldfieldgc.com or 0121 353 9633

We look forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards

Gill Keegan
